Looks cool but is there a reasoning for the different colors? Different loads perhaps?

Normally, that's the case, but some people just like to paint them for fun (or perhaps like VT said for different loads).

InfiniteGrim's are painted, I believe. I could be wrong.

You can't buy un annealed cases, all cases are annealed as part of the manufacturing process, most commercial companies polish the discoloration away for purely cosmetic reasons, in military ammo function is important, cosmetics aren't important, so they don't polish the discoloration away.

This is the same case, M193 IMI military spec case, unpolished and then polished.

So it's been annealed twice....color and consistent heat is something I'd been working toward for some time.

Heat traveled to a point and stopped pretty much the same place, every case.

Brass was re-annealed using a waterless heat sink method.... something else I've been working on for months,

No big deal, right ??

those where some 750 amaxs i loaded up to go to the world shot a few years ago
the colors were separate the groups for the weight groupings
trying to get them as close to perfect as possible

a 750 amax weighs in +/- 5.0 grains
i grouped them for +/- 0.5 grains (lots of sorting there)
i now use Tenx 795's which weigh in @ +/- .01

3 days late for this thread, but I just threw these together this morning. I have around 700rds of .45 that I tumbled, deprimed/sized, expanded, and primed 3 months ago that I decided to go ahead and use the rest of my Berry's bullets in. I only had 163 bullets left, so that's what's on the table. Took right around 2 hrs to pull the table out, drop powder, and seat/crimp them all. A Dillon 550B can't come soon enough...I just need more components for now!

Have you thought about one of those hydraulic form dies from Hornady? Might save you a step or two.

I saw the hornady dies just hate to spend any more money when I have the form dies. .  I ran a couple hundred today with the dies. I plan on fire forming them on p-dogs out west in May.

Here's a older picture

If your time is worth money(and I'd be a fool to calculate in my time into reloading costs), it might be worthwhile. If it saves you a range trip to fireform, the gas over time might be worth it, depending on how far you drive to get to the range. Really though, it's just a great excuse to buy some cool tools.

Now that's ingenuity!  Good stuff.

BTW I think duct tape has to be involved for ghetto status.

Didn't have any hanging around (a grave man-code violation).  I used Scotch tape initially before screwing the lid down.

163 rds in 2 hrs!  You sure as heck need a progressive.  I can easily produce 10 times that amount in 2 hrs with my 650 and casefeeder.

Yeah, and that's 2hrs when all the brass work is already done.

I'm trying to not think about time spent in relation to rounds loaded where I'm at right now and just think about what I could make with a 550

It's been a while, but I did some home-hollow-pointing today:

250 grain Keith bullets that drop out of my mold 261-262 grains.   They weigh 250-251 with the holes up front.
