I'm sitting here with a new Christmas PIG carrier, and trying to figure out how I want to load it out.  Aside from my IFAK it's naked.  This is my first PC, will be using it for rifle classes next year primarily, possible future work use, and the standard ER/SHTF, etc.  I'm partial to Tacos due to multiple pistol use, but can't decide on what configuration for the PC; 3 single rifles & 1 pistol, 4 doubles, 2 rifle + 2 pistol...  Was hoping to see some pics of others' PIGS to see how they run em (and for what purpose).  I don't want to overload it or for it to be too bulky obviously.  I've been browsing misc PC setups for weeks but can't find many good ones of PIGS.   Appreciate any tips or experiences!

Here is how my PIG was set up for my last tour. I spent my time in helicopters, getting dropped in on locations for quick missions that sometimes turned far longer. Trick for that is to carry tons of extra batteries, a little food, and the necessities you need to fight.
My PIG PC thread shows the evolution of my PIG PC over the years.

You are going to love this thing. Mine has been to hell and back and it still rocks.

Just start putting stuff on it.  Move around with it on and move or remove pouches as needed.  The defacto standard is three single pouches front and center.

I like mine. Originally I had bfg ten speed pouches but they were a pain to get mags in one handed so I got tacos.

I plan on putting a pig 2l hydration carrier on it.

Also, I think I may move one taco to my belt and putting an hsgi bleeder on the pig. It's a work in progress as I find what works for me.

My PIG. have a triple panel tactical tailor mag pouch with tacos on top. Have ares plate carrier silencers instead of using the Velcro. Tactical tailor hydration and admin pouch as well.

Very nice gents! PiG carriers are class 1 IMHO! I've been saying it since 2011! Skdtactical is a great company as well to order from!

That's one of my issues -- I assume it would be advisable to space it out right so nothing is covering the center (on both front velcro panels).  I suppose one could just lift up both panels simultaneously, though, when donning and doffing?  Is that what you guys with triple rigs do?  I'm starting with 3 rifle mags on the PC as my battle belt has 2 on it already and I'm planning on putting at least one more pistol mag pouch on the PC and a multitool pouch, or just 2 pistol pouches...

SKD - Good thread, very helpful.  Good hearing from someone running it that long.

Good stuff, thanks guys!

Usually the the pouch guys have a double and a single, 4 or 3 singles and it is easy to lift one side to undo half the Cumberbund.  For fast donning I may even keep both shoulders attached and just slide my head through and only have to worry about Velcro and snapping one side of the Cumberbund!

My current set up consists of 2 pistol mag pouches above heart, then 3 double pouches of rifle on gut portion of Pig carrier, right rear hip will consist of ifak due to being my deployment mandated spot for ifaks so basically everyone knows how to roll the injured to get to the ifak. All other spots tend to get swapped a round based on mission needs.

I use these, and I have a triple mag panel on my PC. I also find it faster than the velcro. I just like it more.

Here's mine now but I'm going to switch it up today. I'm thinking maybe putting two single TACO's in the center, and a double TACO on each side. I have no idea, but this set up is a little too much but yet I want to keep some for an MBTTR and a smoke... Any advice..? Id rather not use a belt just yet.

Prior to this set up I used the KWYI, but i just about punched myself in the face on every god damn mag change and it wasn't 'breaking in'. In addition to that I couldnt store a smoke/MBITR. I switched it out for the four double tacos, and now I feel like its too much lol.

and the god damn malice clips would constantly dig into my hips, doesnt do that for the taco's

Put the MBITR on side of back, just have a wire speaker system come up over the shoulder. If u want the abilitity to change the channel I recommend front left side if your right handed shooter. Opposite if lefty.

As for the 4 double mag pouches, that seems a bit heavy to me, max I would go would be 3 double. If you want to keep it light go 2 double and keep spare mags in assault pack.

I tend to keep smokes, bang bangs on my sides. If I'm needing to use smoke, I most likely am prone or kneeling. Easier to grab and pull from sides.

Btw skdtac, just put in another order thanks to this thread!

I keep my MBITR or PRC152 on the left side, first two strips of MOLLE on the C-bund. I use the MAST system for my Antenna. Behind the radio pouch I carry an Emdom m4/AK pouch. This works for two mags, or a smoke, or the other radio I sometimes need. It's versatile, and means I don't have to change my kit. I prefer single stack mags on my front because laying down on plates, plus mags sucks.

I haven't put my Target-Man AR500 plates in yet, or put all my taco mags and other accessories on them yet.  So I won't post photos.  But I'm looking forward to working on them this weekend.

This is my active shooter loadout.  I've worn it to two carbine classes but it mostly sits in the trunk. I figure by the time I get anywhere (unless I'm right around the corner) it'll be mostly casualty recovery with a chance of gunfight.  I've got four mags in tacos (one double rifle, two single rifle / pistol), an IFAK I put together with stuff from the Army and things I've picked up along the way, and two tourniquets.

How it sits in the trunk (I've got cardboard under the flap so I can throw it on without having to dick around with the velcro).

The Blow out MED kit on my rig is the New Esstac DST Blow Out Medical Pouch . It is detachable/ Tear away. This one is part of the "Iberian" chest rig from ESSTAC, its fixed. But SKD has the Molle Compatible version in stock last time I checked.  SKD - ESSTAC DST Blow Out Med Pouch

EDITED TO Elaborate some on My Rig pictured above:
You cant really see them to well in the pics above, but I am more of a fan of running the rig slick. I have 2 x Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed Double Mag Pouches behind the chest rig. Look Close......
I became a big fan of keeping my PIG "slick" sans an Admin Pouch on the chest and the BFG mag pouches on the front and sides/ cumberbun due to my role and lessons learned from my last deployment. It is very VERY nice to be able to drop my combat load/ i.e. Chest rig, when riding in vehicles for extended periods of time or during certain activities where I dont necessarily want or need the extra weight or bulk. I could load up extra mags under the separate chest rig or drop the whole Rig and stuff a mag or 2 or a pistola in the BFG pouches. It also makes it easier to "don and doff" without mag pouches and other stuff attached directly to the PC and cumberbun areas.
You would think that having everything attached would be faster to don in an emergency, but I beg to differ. Yes you may be able to get it over your head faster after busting your nose on all that shit, but by the time you "peel" back all the gear on the cumberbun flap reach around your back to find the heavy cumberbun tail and then try to secure it under the front flap, which by the way does not flex in the least bit with a mag pouch on it... I can have the PC and Chest rig on and moving. Some of my guys and I used to "race" during down time, just to see if there was a difference in "gearing up" (its called rehersals in .mil circles) and really there was negligible differences in times except for my boys who were affectionally referred to as my "Combat Turtles". These were my guys who lived through the "Blackhawk Down" days when carrying 12 mags was normal "Just in Case" a Blackhawk Down senario played itself out. It took them freaking what seemed like hours to get their stuff on.
I may have 12 mags on me but 6-8 would be in my pack not on my vest. To Heavy and to slow.

This is just my $.02 though and you have to do what works for you.
