Can some one hook me up with the book minimum and Max for 223 Remington using a 77 grain match kin using power pro 2000 mr from alliant. I can't get on alliants on line loading guide on my iPhone. An that's all have ATM. Cause I can't 8208 xbr to shoot decent groups out of my 18 1x8 Wilson combat barrel.

Only one load listed at Alliant's guide for 2000-MR and 77 Sierras. This is supposed to be a maximum load. Case used Winchester--oal 2.260"--24" barrel--Fed 205M primer--25.2 grains of 2000-MR---velocity 2856 fps. I find Alliant data for this to be off. I shoot 25.8 gr with the 77 smk and only get ~2700 fps out of my 20" wylde chamber barrels. Start with 24.5 and work up to be safe, and plan on going through 26.5 gr before you start to see any pressure signs. |
