It appears to me that those selling pre-ban weapons may still be getting premium or better money than post ban.  I have not studied this carefully but I have seen people listing applicable weapons as pre-ban as still a desirable attribute.  The only thing I can thing of is that many post ban have the LE designations on the receivers which some may not like.  Is pre-ban still more desirable to some and if so why?  I just wanted to see if I am missing something.  Thanks.

In some states (NY for one) you still need to have a "pre-ban" in order to still have evil features. Its a states issue at that point, and not federal legislation. So for someone in those states, if they really wanted evil features they need a preban receiver.

Like posted pre-anything might be state requirments or lower ser#'s,or with some revolvers pre-lock may bring higher values to some.
