I broke down and placed an order through CZ for a gen 2 Scoropion pistol last week. I'd read all the reviews, watched all the videos, crunched the numbers for the Scorpion vs. the MPX as SBR's and finally settled on the CZ.
The sales rep said that at the earliest it should be ready to ship in February which is good, since I don't have ANY 9mm ammo. I can use the intervening months to stock up. |
| When I spoke with the LE rep, he said March or April and "maybe even longer". I would not get my heart set on a set date, CZ USA is supplied at the apparent whim of CZ Europe. I actually made another purchase in the meantime. The Gen 2 looks nice, but the waiting/supply/magazine issues are dulling the enthusiasm I initially had for this weapon. |

It wasn't listed anywhere on the CZ site. I called them directly and placed an order through their LE sales rep. Both guys I talked to said it would be late in the second quarter of '16, March or April, which is fine by me.
I ordered the model in black, since I figured there are more options in black as far as optics, stocks, braces and the like. |
