Sorry if this has been posted before. Has anybody tried one of these for applying DuraCoat, Cerakote, etc.? Thoughts? For $6 it seems like a cheap and easy way to apply finishes.

They are cheap and easy, but you probably won't get great results from them.  I've used them before, and had issues getting a consistent spray pattern.  They're good in a pinch, but go with an airbrush if you can.

I actually just tried it today and I would say it works pretty good if you are sprayin something simple like an A2 stock.  The best way I can explain it is that it is choppy, meaning I would be spraying and it would spray air only then back to paint real quick.  You have little control.  I became frustrated and began to regret it after the first coat but then when I left it to dry for a little bit I came back and it blended together and really smoothed out.  End result ended up pretty decent.  If your looking for simple, no cleanup use it.  For flawless results use air brush.  Also I would say for sure do not attempt anything but a single color job with the preval.
