I have a ww2 Springfield all correct in pristine condition. Barrel is almost new as a matter of fact. What are ww2 corrects bringing now?...The stock has been valued at over $650.00. slasher |
That’s like asking "I have a pristine Chevrolet, what’s it worth?" And, as I'm sure you know, a pristine '57 Chevy is worth a lot more than a pristine Chevy S-10. The point of that story is that for the folks more knowledgeable on here than I to give you an answer, I sense they'll need a bit more information. You have to fill us in on what year it was made, are the drawing numbers on the parts correct for the serial number and so on and so forth. A pristine gas trap garand is going to bring a LOT more than a pristine 1950's garand. Likewise an all correct early WWII Garand would probably bring more than a late 1945 Garand (with the possible exception of Win-13's) |
Sad thing is, most M1s are worth far more in parts from people buying the to make "correct" rifles. Just because the stock it worth $650 doesn't mean it will add $650 to the value of the rifle. Kind of like putting aftermarket wheels and performance mods on a car. I don't know what it would be worth. |
