I had someone ask me to refinish some mags for them but I'm not sure what a fair price would be. Can someone give me a number.

depends on what finish you are doing, but maybe $10/mag for duracoat or parkerizing?  I would probably try to get enough mags to make it worth your time.  Maybe a $50 minimum?

10$ a pop seems a bit steep as most mags are 10$ a piece new.
unless its some old relic or rare mag.
i would say 3-4$ a piece, as how much work and time does it really take to do 10 mags?
if their a friend, trade refinishing it for something else, or a favor such as helping do something you dislike doing(for me that would be painting my house.)

I charge $6 for refinishing mags but I used GunKote which is a longer process than Duracoat.  I also have a minimum of 5 mags to make it worth it.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking $5 or so would be fair.
