I have a lee turret press and the large primers are not seating deep enough on 7.62x39 brass.  I am not having any trouble with the small primers seating deep enough for .223.  Since this is a new press and the first time I have tried to load large primer rounds on it, my thoughts are that the post that pushes the primer in the primer pocket may be too short or either something is up with the shell holder.  If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Are you cleaning the primer pocket?  Have you swaged it or reamed it?  Did you use a primer pocket uniformer?  What headstamps are you trying to load?  What brand of primers?

I'm not saying you need to do any/all of the above, just trying to understand what you may have done already.  FWIW, I find FC x39 brass easier to prime than Fiocchi but both require more oomph than 223 or pistol rounds.  I use CCI LR primers with my Lee Turret.  I also suspected some weirdness with the priming arm, but large pistol primers seat just fine when I load .45 ACP.

what brand brass? RP and Winchester primer pockets aren't usually crimped.  I don't think FC is. All of the PMC brass I had in 762x39 was.

You may have an issue with crimped primers, you need to swage or ream the primer pockets to make seating the primers easier.  Cleaning the primer pockets won't make any difference at all.

The brass that I am using is brand new winchester, never fired.  I am using CCI large rifle primers.  Is it possible that I would need to swage or ream new brass to make the primer seat deeper?

Sir, the ones I use are made by Sinclair Int.  The purpose is to make the depth of the primer pocket uniform in all pcs of brass.  HTH, 7zero1.

Just what it says it uniforms the primer pocket. Unless you got a bad batch of brass you shouldn't need to touch the primer pockets on new brass. I don't have a Lee press but on my Dillon you can adjust how deep the primer seats, I would assume there is the same type of adjustment on the Lee.
