My friend has an aug that FTF! From looking at the insides it looks like the 2 pins that move back when the trigger is pulled do not reach the hammer release! We've looked it over and over again and we cannot figure out why these stiks wont hit the hammer release! Please help, any info would do! Thanks! |

That is the disconnector, as it were. You can adjust the depth of insertion, of the disconnector, by disassembling the rifle up to the point of having the stock free of the receiver and the bolt carrier and the hammer pack. There is a small allen screw and an accompanying metal tab that secures the disconnector to the trigger. It is adjustable at this point. Simply loosen the allen cap screw and gently move the disconnector rearward as you firmly hold the trigger. This is a little cat and mouse so make small movements and test to see how it is performing. Do not over tighten the cap srew. Having said that it has to be pretty snug. This should rectify this problem, providing it is actually the problem with the disconnector. Kentlik TPD
