Nice, what optics? Aimpoint T1, and the ADM mount does not like the Benelli rail. I am sick and tired of trying to find a mount that does so I am selling the optic and I have already ordered night-sights for it. The LPA Irons are nice, and the meprolites promise to be nice as well and I am tired of trying to get a mount that will work on the rail. *The issue was peening the edge of the rail with the cross-bolt. Shoot yours enough F22, and you will see what I mean. I don't think the ADM is sitting correctly on the rail. Dicked up wierd off-spec rail=fail. **I had to hunt all over town to find a 5.5mm end wrench to get the front sight loose in preparation for the Meprolites. Also, at 25 yards the Federal Vital Shock OOO 2.75" 8-pellet buck made nice, even, 12-14" patterns. At 40 yards 1 pellet went off-target and the rest went into a nice 17" pattern. Not bad. It slings Hydrashok and SLugger slugs with rediculous accuracy. Briley MOD choke was used. I will be testing an IMOD choke with the buckshot to see if I can tighten things up even more. Pattern was very even so I think it can handle a little more choke. We will see. |

The cross bolt was actually damaging the Benelli Factory rail? Fuck now I wish I hadn't epoxied the god damn thing on, it may be better to just take it off and leave it rail less
ETA I don't 'spose you can post up a Pic, im interested in what is happening.... If the Micro + ADM mount is damaging the stock rail, then that means pretty much ANY optic is going to be fucking up the Picatinny rail. Sounds like a problem that BENELLI needs to fix if this is the case. Improperly engineered optic rail |

Fuck now I wish I hadn't epoxied the god damn thing on, it may be better to just take it off and leave it rail less ![]() It was minor, and I am OCD, but yes, it was. Where the threads thread into the nut, it appears that it was touching the rail and under repeated putting it on/taking it off as well as shooting it with heavy loads especially, it was dinging the endge of the rail. If the threaded portion of the bolt and the nut it threaded into were slimmer, this wouldn ot be an issue. Maybe some sand-paper could fix.I duno. I will just run night sights. ...why...would you allow Epoxy near a weapon mount? This is bad form, lol. |

The Mesa Tactical rail I had on before stripped out the inner 50% of the threads when the screws started to strip it out. The stock screws had enough grip to get the factory rail back on, but there was no way it would have handled recoil with what threads were left. I used a high strength steel epoxy to affix the rail and screws in place.... Guess it wont matter much if the mount wont work tho. ETA Maybe some flux stripper & elbow grease will get it off, dont want to damage the finish tho. ETA2 I didn't put epoxy on the ADM mount, just to clear that up, its attaching the Picatinny rail to the receiver

I hate this messed up rail crap. I mean, it's just lame. As to the damage to the rail, it is superficial, but I can see where it could cause POI issues as it progressed. I just put my T1 up for sale and will run night-sights. As mentioned, the night sights on this platform should be nice. Will use the extra money for more buckshot : ) |

I'd hate to give up, I dont mind a bit of cosmetic bumps and dings, but if it causes shift in POI, then its no good. AT least I have another gun it can go on ETA and yes the rail is a hunk of garbage.... Causes way too many problems. |
