Does anyone know if the gas system on the Sig 556 pistol is the same leingth as the one on the SAN 553 pistol? From the pictures that I have seen, the 556 looks longer, but I'm not sure if the barrel profile makes it appear larger.

556 pistol/patrol carbine/SBR gas piston is longer and larger in diameter (same diameter as 550/551/556) than the 553 (and 552).
