[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question: Sig m400 lower

At the rear of the lower, in front of the buffer tube, there are 2 "ears" with round holes and a groove inside each one. What are these for? Would they be for a quick detach type sling mount?

Thanks. I too was wondering. I'm haven't looked yet but I hope I can buy the disconnect all by itself and make my own sling to fit it.

I have that and one of Gear Sectors single points slings and like it very much. I had very good customer service from Gear Sector.
