Did Colt make an AR that has the raised fence around the mag release, small takedown pins, and mil-spec trigger and hammer pins?

Yes, I have one. It has a sear block though.

Sporter Match HBAR. Don't know the number, I don't keep up on the model numbers because Colt has about 100 different models that differ only slightly.

is it a preban or postban? i thought colt only made them with one or the other for "political reasons"

The answer to the original question is a resounding "YES", the models R6520 Govt. Carbine and the R6550 Govt. Rifle both had those features during production. If you want a R6520, look for one in the 5000 to 7000 serial number range. Not sure about the number range in the R6550 model.
