So I'm currently kicking myself right now for not jumping on the K31s when the price point was much lower. Is there any possibility that new ones will arrive in the US driving down the price, or will the prices continue to climb?

If you find one, you better grab it.  These rifles are amazing and will always climb in price.

As I understand it all of the military stores were depleted a few years ago, there will continue to be imports in small batches but they will be from individual collections. Simpsons LTD is where you should look, the prices are high but you see the actual rifle you are buying. I read that the owner just got back from Switzerland on a buying mission and will have a new batch on their website soon.

I did the same thing, slowly moaning and crying when the price went up $19.99 from $99.  I finally snagged a good one at $225 and am SOOO glad I did.

I saw get on em.    In 3 years they're gonna be $450+ guns.

Some ive already seen go for that and more.

Got mine for 333, 350 in january

Get em while you still can for reasonable money. If not wideners has k11 carbines which are fine alternates.. they didn't make many of them either.

+1 on Simpsons LTD. I agree some of their prices are high, but they are a consignment dealer too FYI.

There are gems to be had there, you might be paying more than you would find with other dealers but the quality of the specimen they offer is unlike what any other dealer can get/or ever has had their hands on.

Some of the prices you see that go $500+ are usually worth every penny to collectors. I have purchased at that price and rate my overall experience with them as high. I would rather have a high quality specimen than a beat up one for a few hundred cheaper.

You should tell that to the people who refinish these k31s and feel nothing about it other than - it was never shot in anger so i can do what i please...

+1 to getting one while you can. They are phenomenal rifles even at todays prices. I really can't believe that K31s were less than a hundred bucks back in 05 or whatever. I was caught up in the whole EBR thing and missed out on the golden era of C&R stuff

I have refinished a few K31's using Gusian's method which is original as it can get outside the factory.

It never comes out completly the same and I would not go this route since it will diminish the value of the rifle just like refinishing any C&R.

Whether or not it was used in battle has no bearing on this rifles collectability, the accuracy and platform speak for itself. This goes along with many quality C&R rifles that never saw battle.

Not quite all.

I think I paid an average of about $85 each shipped back when AIM was shoving them out the door.
