I'm going to TX in a couple months to 4x4 with a Hummer group and were bringing our rifles, while I hope my F4 gets approved by then for my first MG (I doubt it though), there is a guy in the group that has a M16, MP5 and a RDIAS for his other rifles, he has offered me the use of his rdias while I'm there, my question is simple: yes or no, I have a preban Colt Hbar A15 A2 (it will accept a shear) will it work with just a M16 bolt? I have no interest in buying a M16 FCG, little lone changing it in the feild on a tail gate or in a hotel room. Thanks |

Nope. For an RDIAS to function in any AR15, it requires a complete full-auto fire-control group (hammer, trigger, disconnector and selector) in addition to a full-auto bolt carrier.
The only AR conversion device which works with the semiauto fire-control group is the Lightning Link (RLL). |
