Has anyone here delt with them? THanks, David |

I've done business with him before- an Uzi Model A semiauto long gun back in 1999. I believe the owner's name is Ed. He's a broker- other people come to him with their firearm(s) and he lists them for sale. No inventory and I don't believe UA has a FFL AFAIK Anyhow, I got a great looking gun from some place out of Texas. I'd go through them again if I needed something and couldn't find it at a better price elsewhere. Mike |

My advice would be to understand the broker issue itself before you jump into a deal with one. In most cases, they do not have possession or control of the gun they are selling. Any number of issues can arise out of this relationship, some might be broker-related and others might be seller-related. I've seen many a deal go south after buyer has made payment due to a broker-seller issue or miscommunication. The buyer ends up in the very stressful position of having several or many thousands of dollars in limbo. Not saying don't use a broker, but definitely make sure you use someone reputable who is fairly representing the gun and the seller and will take responsibility if something goes wrong between him and the seller. |

About 2 years ago I bought 2 HK sears from Ed. Very smooth transaction. Zero issues. If I was looking for another transferable, I would call him first. I don't care if he's a broker or a manufacturer or whatever- makes no difference to me. I got a good deal and he treated me right- no hokus-pokus. A straight deal the whole time. |

I bought an MP5 thru Ed at Urban Armory. Ed is definately a broker, has no inventory or FFL to my knowledge. However, he does have a very extensive network of individuals with items for sale. My MP5 purchase was about 4 years ago and was very smooth and I have no complaints what so ever. However, I did have a deal for an HK51 with another broker about 5 years ago with (Scott McNish of Mid America Brokerage) and the deal was terrible. He lied multiple times and there was a huge delay (30+ days) between when the F3 was approved and the gun was finally shipped. It was then shipped UPS ground with no insurance other than the $100 you get by default from UPS. That guy was a POS and I wouldn't buy a $5 coffee mug from him. Anyway, my limited experience is that Ed is a standup guy, been around for as long as I have been buying NFA (8+ years). Good luck with you deal. James Austin, Texas |
