I was wondering if anybody know if I can shoot any type of commercial ammo out of this little mauser. It has the three lug bolt. What is the closest commercial ammo to surplus ammo in .308.. Thank you lil

I wouldn't. Surplus is cheaper anyway.

The FR-7 was made from the small ring Mauser action and commercial isn't recommended in it. The FR-8, however, on the large ring action is strong enough for the hotter commercial loads.
