Hey, how do you like that tripower on your new hog killer??  I hope you revert back to 5.56 every once in awhile just to shut up the naysayers about the cartridge.  But anyways, I'm thinking about the tripower for my AR.  How do you like yours?  How's it in the bush?  Are you having any issues with it?  Spill the beans man.  Pretty please.

I posted this over here because of your knew found M1A love, even though it looks like robocops rifle or something like that!  ha ha ha ah ha ha just kidding.

I love the TriPower, VERY bright even when w/ very low sunlight, the fiber optic tube is awesone. The upside down chevron point is great for long distance, better than Aimpoint dot when it comes to long range, and is the whole chevron is gtreat for quick close encounters sight acquisition.

I think the triPower would be great on your AR.

ETA: I have about 600rds thru my M1A EBR, and the rifle & triPower has been 100% prefect.

You're welcome, and mine is 1st gen, polymer body tube, the new gen. should have aluminum body tube, though I don't know if Trijcon have released the 2nd gen yet...

They're talking about it over on the optics section in the ar section.  I wonder if I could find a good deal on the first gen, since you haven't had any problems with it, seems like that might be the way to go.

By the way, why do you consider the chevron upside down???  Are you Ex air force or something?  My grandpa was army, so it's upside right to me. LOL

Trijicon will honor any warranty for 1st gen same as 2nd gen Tri-power.

Not Ex-military, married w/ kids & gun freak.

Trijicon reticle = Upside down Chevron.
