I'm curious to get a better look at the sights on the SLP vs. the SLP MK1. I've looked at gun stores around town and no one has them. I want to order one, but a second look at what each gun's sights look like would be very helpful in making my decision and give me the peace of mind before clicking "buy."
If you could post a picture of the sights, front and back, as well as one looking down them from shooting position, that would be helpful. |

Quoted:
SLP is 18" and has ghost ring sights. MK I is 22" and uses fiber optic front sight. shotguns are not really used for aiming. more for pointing. I would consider the size more important than sight picture. I'd beg to differ. Sight picture helps an awful lot when pointing! Mainly, I'm interested to see what the sight picture is on the MK I, with the flip up back sight. |

What are you wanting to use the shotgun for?
I went with the 18" SLP because I was wanting something shorter for personal protection. Now if I had planned to use it for competitions, I'd switch to the MKI with its 22" barrel. Mission drives the tools. Not the otherway around. |

I want something for that would be considered a good combat shotgun, which is why I'm interested in sights. I know ghost rings would probably be best in a combat situation, but for shooting slugs, the longer barrel w/ flip up sight would probably be better. That's why I want get a better view of the sights. Because I think either would work for me, but it comes down to sights. |
