So Im looking at getting a case trimmer for my 30-06 and 303brit. I dont plan to do more than 50 cases at a time for the forseeable future. Im wondering if I should get the Lee setup that I can chuck in my drill and trim, or get a proper trimmer like a Lyman or RCBS. Your thoughts?

For small batches like that the Lee trimmer is fine.

See I was thinking that, plus as of right now thats the only caliber Im loading for that needs trimmed. All others are pistol and Im not real concerned with those.

I like the Possom Hollow trimmer better for small batches

Or you might look at something more universal

For small groups I like the LE Wilson Trimmer that I can throw in the vice.

The Lee trimmer is fine for small batches. Get the adaptor for use in a drill.

The lathe trimmers are a more versatile tool.

I do mine the other way.  I chuck the cutter into a hand drill (has to be a 1/2" chuck) and hold the lockstud and brass in my right hand, use my left thumb to actuate the drill.  Goes pretty fast.

If you have a decent drill press, maybe you should also consider:

They also make a fine hand tool:

Mine is over 25 yo and still going strong.

I started with a Forester lathe trimmer.  I recommend it as versatile and accurate.  I since added a power adapter and run it off a drill motor with a flex shaft.  However, for batches of 50 the manual trimmer is very fine.  The motor is cuts fatigue and speeds up process for very large batches.

Similar.  I stick the shellholder in a cheap ratcheting screwdriver that's held in a vice.  The screw-down part of the shellholder has a small set of vicegrips clamped to it so I can unscrew it easily.  Cutter is in the cordless drill.  Gets the job done for very low cost.  I'm still doing .223 this way.
