Just picked up my first can today  A Rugged Razor.  I ran about 60 rounds through it at a pretty slow pace.  I was loading 5 rounds at a time (range rules) and letting my kids take turns shooting.  After I got home and removed the can, I noticed that the finish on the front half of the flash hider was totally gone.  Is this normal?  If so, no big deal, I was just not expecting it.

And just because

Totally normal. Keep shooting it and you'll get a green copper patina on it as well. Awesome can, but for the love of all that is holy, you need a new gun range.

Thanks, and yeah, it's not the best range for tactical shooting, but it's close and I didn't have much time today. There are other ranges I can go to, but they are a bit of a drive. The next closest range actually has a 1 round limit

Thanks. I like it, but it's not perfect. Its a little too narrow, I had to grind down the cam nuts of the for fore-grip to fit under the gas block. And if I had to do it again, I might opt for a rail sans all the qd points, so I could mount a light a little further forward. Other than those minor complaints, it's nicely finished, lightweight, and a great value compared to some of the other options.

1. Buy land.
2. Open gun range.
3. ??????
4. Profit.

Sounds like there's a market for it in your area.

If I had the money to buy some land, I wouldn't even worry about steps 3 and 4.  Like I said, there are some good places I can shoot, I just didn't have the time yesterday.
