Does the tube easily remove? Also, is there a stud that retains the folding stock?

Yes, the tube easily removes. No, there is not one on mine. Mine is for a 556P though, the rifle one might be different (but I doubt it).

Received a reply back from TROY. Nope, no stock retaining stud....

Do a DDLES stock adapter and an M4 stock. It locks up much tighter and looks better.
