Just got an e-mail form efkfiredragon it apears that the new sig 226 40 barrel I purchesed from them can not be threaded 9/16x24 . the od of the barrel is .530 need to be at least im told .550. question is is there such an thing as an 1/2x28 to 9/16x24 adapter. BTW need 9/16x24 for my aac evo supressor

I might be wrong but it is worth a phone call to AAC.  The Evo 40 and the Evo 9 are the same diameter.  Maybe the pistons will interchange.  Get a 1/2 x 28 piston or a 13 x 1LH metric and have the barrel threaded accordingly.  Make sure you ask which spring to use in the LID.

Already called and talked to Freddie form aac who stated it was not an possible to use an 1/2x28. He told me to have them thead the barrel any way and that the barrel makers didnt know what they where talking about. After a little research found on thier web site a barrel threading guide which shows that the min barrel must be .551. Sig 226 requires im told by firedragon a .530 for proper slide clearences. I finaly Just had them thread for 14.5x1 and must now purchace new fixed barrel adapter and piston. This will be the last product I buy From aac. Very disaponted with the customer service Im sorry I troubled them with my measily $800 sorry for the rant and thanks for the advice anyways
