Ok, just wondering if Colt made a mil-spec lower. What I mean by that is it carries the following:
1. Small diameter front push pin
2. raised fence around mag well and mag release button
3. small hammer and trigger pins(same as bushmaster, DPMS, etc.)
So in other words an exact copy of an M16A2 lower minus the auto sear.

I'm no expert, but have never heard of a small pin, fenced lower with standard fire control parts. But hey, Colt produced a lot of hybrid lowers, so who knows? It would definitely be a rare breed.

Yes, I believe a few do exist.

"rare bird" is about right.
