I've got some Specwar muzzle brakes and flash hiders to mount, I read up on using Rocset on them but what do you use to time them? Should I be using crush washers, peel washers or shims? Also any general information on tips for installing them and using Rocset as well?

Do not use crush washers.  They could crush unevenly and you may get some baffle strikes.

I tried to order some Rocksett from silencershop but they were out of stock.  So I just torqued on my Saker mount and it hasn't come loose yet.

Use shims. You'll be playing with different thickness combinations to get it to align properly with the right amount of torque.

I then take everything off and degrease the threads on the barrel as well as the threads on the mount.

Wait for everything to dry, apply some Rocksett on the threads and then reinstall the muzzle brake.

Leave it alone for 24 hours for the Rocksett to cure.

+1 on shims, I purchased a shim kit off eBay (was a spikes shim kit) for like $10 shipped. Was enough to time 3 muzzle brakes (still have a few shims left). I used the thread locker aac includes with their brakes.
