So I used this for the first time yesterday loading up some 300 blackout with LIL' Gun powder. Which is a small disc/ball type powder. When I went to get the excess powder out, anything that touched powder had a layer of powder sticking to it. I had to use the included brush to nearly scrape off all the powder. Which is why I'm posting this. Because i wasn't able to get 100% of it out. Especially inside of the mechinism on the bottom part.  Is using one of those PC duster sprays a bad idea?

Wipe it down with a dryer sheet before using. Taking it outside and hitting it with compressed air wouldn't hurt it.

I've had mine for quite a while now, and it still does that. Even after 22+ pounds of powder, and multiple wipe downs with dryer sheets. Normally I just do what has already been posted. Which is use the brush that came with it to get in the hard to reach places, and use one of those compressed air cans for computers to blow it out clean.

Ok, I was just afraid to use that "dust off" stuff because I know they put other stuff in it so idiots dont snort it. Didn't want any chemical residue inside the measure.

What ever you do  DONT USE WINDEX OR ANY CHEMICAL CLEANER.  I had the bright idea to use gun scrubber to clean it out which it did a great job. I now have a new Chareg Master and I clean it out with a damp rag and water after I it each time I'm finished using it.

As long as you're using the can upright, you should be fine. Even turned half on it's side you should be fine. It won't leave any residue or anything behind. Just don't turn it upside down, and spray it.
