| A lot, if not most, of the members here are familiar with Rocky Mountain Reloading. I got 1k .224 64g 'Bonded' SP's. RMR won't give the manufacturer, by an agreement, and I respect that. But, RMR can't /won't provide the B.C. of the bullet they sell. They said Google it. Well, I did and I still cant find an image or B.C. Strangely, RMR offers a 62g almost identical except the weight. There are several 62g BTSP but one in particular that might be 'it'. I'm thinking of the 62 Fusion. I haven done any test to see if the jacket is a true 'jacket' or is plated. Do any of you have any more information, B.C., on this 64g that looks a lot like a Fusion, just a little more bearing surface?? B.C. would help a lot in my ballistics comp and work-up. Has anyone reloaded these? They haven't been available very long.Thanks. |

I bought the same thing. I am assuming the following:
1. Speer 64gr Gold Dot JSP * 2. Winchester 64gr solid base bonded JSP * I'm betting on this one. I believe BC--.267 but no guarantees. There is a 65g Sierra SBT in the Western Powders load guide that I intend to use as a starting point for the Accurate and TAC powders I have. YMMV. Nosler also has data for a 64g "bonded base" bullet as well. Nosler 64g |
