While I am waiting for my form 1 to come back on my RPG-7B I decided to do a little work on the optic that came with my demil. After deliberating with the idea of building a new battery housing to allow for a AA battery for about an hour I decided that the easiest solution was to build an aluminum sleeve that slips inside of the original battery housing and allows for any 123 primary lithium battery (surefire battery). With the sleeve made up a 123 battery fits into the old battery housing perfectly with no other modifications needed. I then modified the brass portion of the bulb assembly to accept a turned down 6v white led. I must say it is pretty damn cool. I will try to post some pics or a video here in a second to show all of the parts. I may do a small run of the battery housing adapters and led conversions on some of my buddies sights if anyone is interested.

Bravo!  And if you happen to come across another RPG-7, let me know.  I'm in the market for one once my 60mm projects are finished.
