Came into a used RPR the other day. I’ve kinda been eyeballing them anyway. Gonna use this for precision squirrel eradication and maybe some distance shooting a couple times a year. I put a 5-25 strike eagle on it the other night. What are some mods that actually improved this rifle for you? Pic cause I hate threads without them.

Shoot it before you put a lot of effort and money in to it. They tend to blow shit balls and there is nothing precision about them other than precisely separating you from your money. Yes, I own one.  . Impulse buy in a shop that the guys in Vt were always very helpful and cool in the times I’ve been there but the actually gun was a disappointment. I just wanted to throw them a bit of business because I thought they were a good shop. The stock flexes too much. The rounds may or may not feed smoothly and get gouged on their way to the chamber. You can monkey with the mag position to try to fix that if it’s an issue. The action tends to shift in the stock “bedding”. Some guys will use foil tape to make the bedding a little less sloppy. I tried it but it did little to stop the unexplained fliers. |
The only hyphenated names I like are cartridge names......30-06, 30-40, 38-55 etc.
