Anyone know if these are good or not? I'm thinking about getting the 24" upper comes in 1:8 twist and a 223 wylde chamber. Found a complete brand new upper including the Carrier, bolt, charging handle, Free float hand gaurd and a weaver railed gas block. The price is $480 shipped. Should I be looking for something else or is this what I want? TIA |
| I just put this exact upper on a RRA lower that I had recently built. I'm an AR-15 newbie, but thought the upper, quality-wise, was quite nice. Haven't shot the thing yet as I just finished putting rings/scope on it over the weekend. Your price looks good; I think I payed more than that for mine. For mounts, I ended-up using the bushmaster "risers" plus some Burris Sig-Z rings. The Armalite mount is also really nice, IMO. |
