Questions for those with a GSR.

Say I wanted to (a few times a year) switch between the stock iron sights, and a traditionally mounted scope utilizing the provided rings.

In your opinion would the rear sight return to approximate zero?

How about the scope if the rings were torqued the same each time?

Thanks

I will try and find out when mine gets here thursday...i'm sure the irons would be close but the scope might be iffy.

I don't use the factory rear aperture or the factory scope rings so I cannot say for certain, but I wouldn't imagine the iron sight being an issue. The scope, on the other hand, may see a slight shift. The Ruger rings lock in two different directions but I'm not sure how well it actually works from a return-to-zero standpoint. I eliminated the guesswork with an XS rail, now I don't have to remove the iron sight to mount my scope and I can use my choice of QD rings which I'm confident will return to zero.
