I have woodland BDU blouses that I would like to get raid modded. Is there somewhere I can send them to get done or is there anyone that you guys would recommend? Thanks

Not sure if these guys are still doing them, but they are another option.

LOL at the knee pad pix (captions).

I, too, wonder if they are still in business...they made our first modified uniforms and they were very high quality/workmanship.

Their website says the last order was in 2006.

TRU-SPEC already makes a RAID modded uniform less exposed kneepads

How many do you need modified? Any variation or will they all be the same?

I was the POC for a rather large order placed by a military unit I was in; we did not already possess any part of the project such as the jackets themselves. That may make it a bit easier.

If you need a quantity, send me an IM and I will give you the info on the company that did them for us. I still have all of the contact info as well as the "blueprints" for the features we needed. This was before most people commonly saw such features as velcro and angled pockets on a uniform (ours had both), so many aspects of the design may be obsolete.

Any decent alteration shop should be able to do that kind of work, though it might not be cheap.

Before MARPAT, ACU and NWU people took BDU uniforms to a tailor and had the chest pockets removed and stitched to the sleeves and the bottom pockets moved up to the chest.

That's the basic version. There are many variations I.e. Pockets slanted, Velcro locations etc etc

It used to be that units would purchase services and had a bulk order of BDU tops and sometimes trousers modified all at once to meet the need.
