Tac is a great 223 powder.

As it is a ball powder, it measures like a dream.

I have used it with 55 and 62 gr FMJBT's, with Win SR and Wolf SRM primers.

Follow the reloading data for a start load, you will love Tac.

Yep, TAC works good with everything that I've tried so far 55, 62, 75 grains.

Good Stuff!

I regret to inform the forum (considering the present political climate) that my supply of TAC was lost in a tragic boating accident. Prior to that sad day, I had great luck with TAC in bullet weights from 52 to 77 grs and even did a few 80s with better than moa accuracy (It was a starting load and slow as heck, but it grouped well) Sadly, all I have left is 37 bullets, 12 primers, and 4 tablespoons of mixed powder I collected from the reloading room floor. If I remember correctly, you will find your book max around 26.3gr.

Note: 26grs was a very good load for me (Rem 1X case/Rem 7.5 primer) Very accurate for a 55gr ball, YMMV, work up carefully.

I will soon be made to fabricate my own primers from strike-anywhere matches, and make black powder from the bat droppings in old buildings and local caves. Get politically active now, or we will all be extinct.
