Measure the tenon length, diameter, and the thread pitch.
This is basically a Mauser pattern tenon, but the dimensions are needed to narrow down which receiver it was cut for. If you want to use the barrel it will have to be reworked by setting the shoulder back to fit another action of the same type it was made to fit, or have a new shoulder, threads, and chamber cut. |

) but have no clue what it's for. I was told it was a Douglas 30-06 and that's all they knew. It has a 1 inch(caliper on threads) shank with a notch out of it at the 3 o'clock. Any ideas what the barrel was made for?
