I was at the range last week to check zero on my deer guns, break in my .22 upper, test some .223 reloads & generally
just shoot the shit. But every time I go, I kick myself for not buying a place with enough room to shoot; there was this FUDD with an AR on a single point sling shooting on the pistol range (25 yds),,,why? I felt like telling him "those shoot more than 25 yds" but what the hell, he paid just like I did. He was also shooting handguns with some FUDDIES (fud buddies) who obviously only get out once a year. the thing that bothered me the most is he just walked around with that thing on the sling with the mag in; should'a asked him to clear it, as I was shooting the .22 upper prone near him to check the scope at 25yds & was waiting for a spot to open on the rifle range. I did shoot the .22 upper later at 100 yds; what a hoot! |

All firearms have to be pointed down range in a clear and open position when not in use. glad you had a fun time. |
