Is this the real deal or repainted API? The green paint just doesn't seem right to me.

Real deal, he sells a lot of collector stuff ammowise. Your good to go with him, I also think there's another guy selling singles for a few bucks less.

I, meaning ME, don't understand buying one round.

I would have to shoot it at something to see what happens, and then I would have a $70 piece of brass worth $0.60

He has a lot of 10 but daaannnngggg at the price. I would love to have a few stuck back but finances won't allow that at that price. Oh well, I'll stick with api and apit.

I can't see spending that much for one round.  I load a lot of API and it works for me busting rock and poking holes in scrap steel.  A while back I stumbled into several 7/8" thick 18" round steel disks.  When I shoot it with API it smokes about a 40 caliber hole straight through it.  I can't see spending $70 to do the same thing.

Judging by the pictures that round looks like the real deal.
