There is a Colt M16A1 for sale right now on Sturm for $10K.
They just pulled the ad. I was able to send an email before they pulled the ad. I said I will take it and asked for his information so we can start the process. Let's wait and see if there is a response. |

Quoted:
If you were going to run a scam, don't do it for 10k. Try it for 14k so people don't automatically go SCAM. The point of a super-low price for a scam is to loosen the buyer's judgment over some otherwise questionable or unusual seller demands because it's such a good deal. Buyers will do some pretty stupid things and overlook some very obvious red flags when they think they're getting the deal of the century and someone else will get it if they don't act quickly. |

Yep 100% Just like the OP? Nothing wrong with trying. I bought a Fleming H HK sear off sturm less then a year ago for less then $10k. I called the guy, less then 10 mins after he posted the add, he said he sold that one, but had a 2nd one, did I want it. Came out of NY, NY, which I kind of thought was cool. Of course I got the guys FFL/SOT and checked to be sure he was even in business before I sent him the money, plus he was only a two or so hour car ride away. But still. Not everything ends up being a scam. Even though I was one of the first to call scam.
