Honestly. Good for them if they can get it but MG's really don't do anything for me. Even at 4000, you can get a much nicer rifle, i.e loaded SR15 or a JP with optics and a can.
Are MG's cool. Yup, are they 10,20,30k cool? Not for me. I am sure some dentist, lawyer, or telecom exec will find it pretty cool and have no issues dropping the coin and good for them. |

One of the local school boards here just recently bought a bunch of surplus M16s from the government for $50 each! I've heard since then, that because of the public outcry over why a school board needs M16s that they've returned them.

They are registered on Form 10's and can only be either (a) returned to .gov, or (b) transferred to the next gov-approved agency on the list. |

It has been relisted with the buy-it-now dropped from the original $40k to a more reasonable (but still too high) $18k. |
