I just picked up an T/C Omega to replace my Knight Vision that I sold my buddy. I've noticed that the manufactures mount the rear sight way forward on the barrel. I'm guessing this is to facilitate mounts for scopes. Why can't they design the rear sight so I can move it in the rear scope mount receiver holes? I can't use optics to hunt with in Colorado. I'd rather have the rear sight mounted as far back as possible to give a longer sight plane.
Anybody have any ideas? I did find THIS. It would give me the option of using a scope here in my home state of Nebraska during Muzzleloading season but prefer not to use a scope at all. |

Try this:
http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=16154/Product/-WGRS-RECEIVER-SIGHTS The model for the TC encore fits TC round barrel inlines and mounts to the rear set of scope base holes. If you remove the peep aperture, you end up with a ghost ring sight, even better. |
