I'm installing a Smith Enterprises scope mount on my M1a Scout.
The instructions call for removing the rear sight and using that to level the rifle off of in a shooter's rest. My question is, is the flat on the receiver that is just behind the upper handguard just as level? Removing the rear sight (and then re-zeroing the rifle) is a PITA and I'd rather avoid it if possible! |
