Now that we have addressed lateral play. Lets discuss vertical play as well. I have a little bit of that going on and DSA says that don't know how to fix that. What do you gusy think. What is a permanent solution to this problem?

the only thing I could think is that either the plunger pin that the lever moves that holds the upper and lower together is out of spec, or the upper is out of spec. Maybe buy an new plunger pin and see if that helps. I have not noticed any movement in mine in that direction before.

It is a DSA STG built by them. I called and they swear to high hell and back their uppers aren't out of spec and they do nothing to help me. I wish I would have gone with a different manufacturer.

my rifle is a Coonan receiver on a G1 kit, but from what I have seen lately come out of DSA I wouldn't bet on the plunger being the issue....

I am getting a new receiver lock shipped to me by a gun smith I met. It has been built up and is oversized. I am going to file it down to fit my receiver.
