Then on the other side is a big patio area (or I should say will be) that is blocked off from my neighbors on my both sides of me. But they tend to walk their dogs in the backyard and across our property for some reason. So if I’m out dry firing and they freak out and call the cops it could be an issue. |

Had one show some signs of use around the feed lips that would cause an issue. I dumped them and went back to GI metal mags and have no issues. I have around 60 or so mags for my rifles. Both AR l, bullpup and AK. Nothing polymer. Maybe I should get some Pmags again. I have a short window to order anything. I saw some websites saying June 1st is cut off date for Virginia. |

The newer Gen 2 and especially Gen 3 ones are better than the 1st gen ones. You can get them for less than $10 if you look around. |

My AR mags I paid around 7.99 or 8.99 for each of them when PSA was running a sell a few years ago. |

I can't say for certain but i believe the holes in MALICE clips are intended for mounting. |
| Just got in my rifle mag pouches and wow the retention on them is super crazy with metal mags. A slight difference with a PMAG and a IWI mag I had. Forgot about having those two mags. I may order some Pmags before it’s too late. Being in Virginia is going to suck for a long time. |

I like the wide base of the Pmag, makes for an easy grab out of a pouch. ETA: and yes, that is exactly what the holes in Malice clips are for. The thin wavy ones are "Fight Lite", intended to reduce weight while maintaining strength. I love Malice clips. I've even used a couple to make fixed loops on a IWB holster. |

I’ve been looking at mags today. I’m going to pick up some pistol mags for the three handguns I have. I’m also going to get some rifle mags like Gen2 and maybe Gen3 Pmags and Lancer mags. It won’t hurt to place them back and use them on my belt line. I found the pmag comes out easier than the GI metal mags. |

Now is the time to connect and establish some of those relationships and that may open the door to someone willing to share their range/property for training. Here in GA, our ARFCOM HTF family has an incedibly awsome private range for training that is only an hour from me. I can do some stuff in my backyard but mostly pistols, PCCs and rimfires with and only about 25 yards maximum range. Anything longer or with rifle calibers, I got to our ARFCOM range (plus it has several steel plates). ROCK6 |

A lot of good people there. One of the gun shop owners (no longer owns the shop) would do events and get people together. I really enjoyed that. In my area of Virginia I’m more city with the farmland and countryside settings about 20 minutes away. There is an unmanned range 45 to 50 minutes away and near West Virginia. If I drive that far to the range I’m about another 20 minutes from family land to shoot own. Plus the unmanned range tends to have some issues. Right now I can’t get away and do anything. My dad’s in the last stages of dementia and my mom and I are his only caregivers. The hospital and family doctors are telling us hospice is now our only choice. We are fighting that but at the same time we know that we have reached that point but it’s hard to not fight and keep fighting to do what’s right. But we are also at that point of know what’s right for him. He also has lymphoma. He rarely knows who we are. Sorry for the long post. Back on topic. I just do as much dry firing as I can around the house and outside when I can. Warmer weather is here and that helps with getting outside. |

I swapped to the tracer tactical closure since I hate the Velcro noise. |
