I am looking to pick up something for my AR-15s(both .223) and have narrowed it down to a few and am wondering if anyone can help me by sharing their experiences with the respective suppressors so I can make the best choice.

The candidates are:
AAC M4-2000
YHM Phantom

Both are SS and Inconel, and while I take manufacturer specs with a grain of salt they boast comparable sound reduction. The YHM is a bit heavier but not enough to make me dismiss it, so ultimately I am just looking for the best made, most reliable product.

Also, if by some miracle SWR puts out their Specwar model by the time I have everything ready to go I would consider that one as well as I have decided on a Trident for a pistol suppressor and generally like to do repeat business with companies. Thanks for the help and I look forward to learning more from this forum and, as I become more knowledgeable myself, contributing where I can.

They are both good cans.  The YHM does not sound as quiet as the M42K to my unrefined ear.  I'd like to hear a Specwar myself.  Ops Inc is very high on my list of quality .223 can makers.

The YHM Phantom is more directly comparable to the AAC M4-1000.  The M4-2000 costs hundreds more, is quieter, has an entirely inconel stack, is lighter, and smaller.  It is apples to oranges, the M4-2000 is far superior.
