Quick question, anybody ever use these? I have a ISSC MK .22 that I have a cheap reflex site or red dot as some call them. And was thinking about getting quick detach mounts for it and just buy another scope also with a quick detach so I can switch back and forth depending on what I need it for. Then I ran across these magnifiers.....so any insight? Heres the gun just for reference. Thanks guys. Heres a link to the magnifier as well. http://www.amazon.com/Magnifier-Red-...hu-rd_add_1_dp http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt234/holyshift/IMAG0174.jpg |

Personally, I would just use the iron sights. Its a .22. Unless you like to rainbow targets, you wont be shooting out horribly far. On top of that, its not worth the money for a QD and magnifier, not until you step up and at least get a basic AR. I love shooting .22s because its cheap and still fun, but not good enough to dump money into. |

I find quick detaches a pain to use. And every time you take the red dot off you will need to re-zero it. Personally it's just really easy to have a flip to side option. If you don't want the zoom just click and the magnifier flips out of the way. As far as if it's worth it...yes it works and makes things much easier to see obviously and hit your target. It almost makes it too easy sometimes, so thats when it's cool just to change it up.
