| i just went through 90% of the reloading bench thread and all i saw was lee rcbs, hornady, and Dillion dillion and maybe a few dillion presses. why no love for redding? |

I'm all about the Redding. Made in America with American steel on American made machinery. Excellent finish and function. Their Competition seating dies are the shit. T-7 press in green crinkle finish, perfectly matching the 2400 trimmer and the 3br powder thrower. Trifecta! What's not to like?
I think some reloaders think that they can save money on the basics like a press and dies. In my mind, that would be like scrimping on the foundation on your house. Build it solid from the ground up, and never wonder if you only bought this or that could my loads be better. Redding is not the be all, end all, but the cost to quality ratio is pretty good. |

I use more than a few of their bushing sizing dies, bushings, body dies, powder funnel, Imperial sizing wax, carbide sizing buttons and I even have their competition seater for 7RM. I'm a fan, but I also have Dillon dies, Lee, Lyman, Pacific, CH4, RCBS and Hornady, that I use quite often. Chris |

Maybe $$$, we're reloaders so we're C.A.B. CAB? I bought an older Redding turret press from a guy want to get me into reloading,im 23 and hes 50-60ish and i no he cut me a deal, and its a redding so i was just wondering because this guy only buys good stuff. |

Redding dies and the T-7 press are common. I don't see many of their single stage presses. I prefer the Redding trickler, although I'm still waiting (since April) for a new stem to replace the one I have that bent when it hit the floor.
I have several sets of Redding dies. |
