I know there is a refinishing forum but I thought I would share my latest refinishing project with the group.

This is a SOCOM16 w/ SAGE EBR stock done in a totally one-off custom color.

It was done for fellow ARFCOMr DingusKahn, so maybe he will post more pictures of it.

I think it came out great.

Just wanted to share this with you!

Nice job. I hope that's something more than Krylon so it doesn't wear as fast.

Its actually Gunkote(no way I would ever touch Krylon) with a couple things done to it to ensure minimal wear.

The way i see it is do it right the first time and have someone that knows what they are doing do it for you and if you do it yourself use a product that will last not like Krylon. Nothing worse than doing a hi-end camo project with a crappy finish product and have the results looks great only to have it scrape off with your fingernail. Ask me how I know!

Thanks for the comments. Now I am looking for more refinishing projects to do.....anyone want their collection(or part of it) refinished? EMAIL me if you would.
