I found a guy who has a lb. of this for cheap and was wondering if it was pretty decent for .223 or not. I did look at alliants page and the recipes they show are for 62gr+ bullets. I'd be loading just plain ol' 55gr FMJBT.
Worth picking up a lb. for 10 bucks? |

One of the best powders for precession loads for 223.
52 gr bullets and up. 
AeroE's 52 gr Sierra and Re-15 load shoots pretty good. 100 yd target. Right target was a 30 round mag dump. Lower hole from an AK. Will save you from asking, Win case, Sierra 52 gr Matchking, 27.0 grs Re-15, Rem 7 1/2, OAL 2.250. NO crimp. Home built AR, 3x9 scope. |
