[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Reloading 5.7x28....

Looking to start hand loading for my PS90 and Five seveN....does anyone else here do it? If so, what dies/powder/bullets are you using? Cant find a ton of information on line, and Hodgdon has no data on it whatsoever.

You'll need to wait until the FiveseveN forum is back up and running. The reloading section there is second to none.

I load a lot of 5.7 for pistol. The biggest issue with loading it is the powder. You have to be very careful with this round. Jump on the 57 forum and read the reloading section. There is a ton of great info.

I haven't been able to get on there via computer, iPad or phone for about a week now. It's a smaller forum so has less tech support I would imagine. Whenever it comes back up though be sure to sift through the reloading section and look for ifire's posts. Seems like he and Grantness did a bunch of testing with multiple powders and projectiles a few years ago and have built on that base of knowledge slowly over the years. ifire also has different threads for PS90, P90 and FiveseveN pistol loads due to the different barrel lengths.

Weird, I got to it on my phone via the cell network but my wifi doesn't take me there.

Anyway, pretty much all the reliable data I came across while researching reloading 5.7 that I trusted and eventually used came from there.
