Is it worth the effort in terms of accuracy?I learned to stay away from pulled rifle bullets when it came to long range shooting, but I'm not as picky with handgun results. I'm mainly looking for plinking ammo for under 30 yards to shoot steel plate with.  Is there a difference in performance between pulled plated bullets and pulled jacketed bullets? If they're worth it I can get my reloading margin on 9mm down to around $110/1000rds.

I use pulled 9mm bullets.  I've never noticed a difference (with my shooting ability) between brand new and pulled.  I shoot up to 34 yd with pistols.  I also use them in a Sterling SMG.  Sometimes some real bargains can be found.

No problems here with pulled 9mm bullets.
